A Children’s Voice for Peace, 1995

1995_perform2A Children’s Voice for Peace 1995 was a multicultural, interfaith performance program and silent auction for the children of Bosnia. Proceeds from both the program and the auction benefited five grassroots organizations serving children and youth in war-torn Bosnia.

Beneficiaries were based in Sarajevo and included Golden Hands of Bosnia, Project Sanya, Sarajevo Sports Club, Project Selma, and SunSide. These organizations serve children in Bosnia and Herzegovina by providing food, shelter, education, medical and psychological support such as therapeutic activities and psychiatric services, and more.
