Sister Helen Scarry, R.J.M. is the Roman Catholic Chaplain in Campus Ministry at Georgetown University responsible for ministering to the spiritual needs and programs related to the students, faculty and staff of the School of Nursing and Health Studies and the Medical School, coordinating various ministry and liturgical programs for these Schools; collaborating with and being a supportive team member of the Ignatian Retreat Program; representing Campus Ministry on designated student affairs committees, service projects and activities of the entire campus faith community.

Sr. Scarry represents and serves as a primary resource for Roman Catholic students, and extends these services and pastoral care, with sensitivity to other traditions when appropriate, and in collaboration with the Chaplains and Coordinators of these other traditions. As the Roman Catholic Chaplain, Sr. Scarry "seeks to be of assistance to the University community, especially when celebrating the religious aspect of significant moments in the life of the community."
