2011-2012 Youth Leadership Grants Program Information

FFC is excited to begin another year of supporting high school students become leaders in thought and action. Leadership grants and matching grants in the amount of $1,000 are available for students in grades 10-11. And new this year! One grand cash prize in the amount of $2,000!

This year the program offers the opportunity for applicants to explore the theme of “Present at the Beginning: Three Women and Three Faiths.” Applicants will complete an essay discussing the Judaic, Christian, and Islamic teachings on the role of women who are significant figures of their respective faiths and then apply these teachings to a contemporary challenge by developing a project putting into practice the elements of compassionate leadership.

How Do I Apply?

Students in Grades 10 and 11 are eligible to apply. Students of all faith traditions are encouraged to apply.

All applications must contain: (1) Part I: Essay and Part II: Project Proposal and (2) Grant Application. Applications must be submitted online with requested biographical information.
