Rebekah Lizotte is the third youngest of a family with eleven children. She enjoys reading, writing and photography as well as spending time with her family. She recently moved to Hudson and attends Hudson High School as a junior. She lives with her Grandmother, parents and two younger sisters.

This contest has allowed me to look at my life experience and see how I can use it to benefit others. It has also has shown me the similarities in the Abrahamic faiths when it comes to loving people.

My compassion reflection: Compassion is not merely an intellectual thought, but rather a selfless emotion that responds without judgment to a person’s need.
