Diana Chambers, President, The Chambers Group LLC
Diana was educated at Edinburgh University and The Wharton School. She worked briefly in international banking before becoming the first woman hired in management in a major British building materials company where she spent seven years in strategic planning with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, helping the company acquire several businesses in the United States. She subsequently moved to the United States and, over fifteen years, directed three charitable organizations:
• The Servant Leadership School – educating participants to meet the needs
of our nation’s inner-cities
• Friends of Health - an advocacy group for integrative medicine practices
• The Chopra Center Foundation - where Diana worked closely with Deepak Chopra
These experiences honed Diana’s understanding of the needs of both charitable organizations and their donors and they inform her philanthropic advisory work. This work also benefits from Diana’s broad volunteer experience in inner-city programs addressing job placement, homelessness, drug and alcohol recovery, adult literacy, and financial literacy for middle-school students.
