Shannon W. Earle
Shannon W. Earle As Manager of Training for the Strategic Marketing and Global Communications Division at Conservation International (CI), Shannon Earle develops and implements capacity building initiatives and provides technical support to field programs in 18 countries. She has experience designing and implementing community-based education and communication programs in the United States, Latin America, Asia and Africa. Before joining CI, Shannon managed an adult environmental education program for the state of North Carolina. She has also developed science education programs for the Institute for Learning Innovation; taught at the elementary, secondary and university levels; developed and implemented education and outreach programs for a community-owned protected area in Costa Rica; and worked as an interpretive ranger for Canyonlands National Park, U.S. She received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina and her M.S. in Natural Resources and Environment with a concentration in Resource Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan. Shannon speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.
