“The Prophets Who Lived to Achieve Peace”

Essay Abstract:  The Prophets Muhammad, Moses and Jesus taught their followers the way to coexist with others.  By teaching the lessons of Islam, Judaism and Christianity, and living nonviolent and tolerant lives, the Prophets modeled leadership for the world.  Their teachings of love and acceptance can be applied to the current conflict between Ethiopia and Somalia that is in fact based on religion.

On the value of the Children of Abraham project:  I felt that this project is a vital step in working to improve inter-religion and inter-race relations.  I learned an incredible amount of information about the history and values of the different monotheistic religions, which I was previously unaware of.
