My essay begins with underlying similarities among the Abrahamic religions. As it progresses, I discuss the most recent developments in international movements for religious understanding, while keeping in mind the ever-present conflicts occurring while these great strides are being made around the world. I conclude the essay with my own experiences with religious misunderstandings in my community, and propose a project, known as “Gardens of Peace,” as a way to help mollify this baffling situation.
